Our prices are fair and our service a step above the rest. Our mission is to keep all our customers happy, because a happy customer tells his friends. This is how we survive and why we don't need to advertise.

Camping concepts started as an add-on service for Pieter Crous Caravans in 1997. Tent repairs and tent manufacturing were our main line of business, but soon our clients started requesting us to manufacture all kinds of things that we have never made before... We took up the challenge and today, in addition to tent repairs and tent manufacturing, we offer a wide range of services that includes tent repairs, tent manufacturing,alterations and modifications to all kinds of tents and related canvas and PVC products, manufacturing of caravan tents, awnings, add-a-rooms, trailer covers, boat covers, truck and bakkie covers and even outdoor blinds to make your patio or braai area the talk of the town. Our vast experience in designing and modifying caravan tents allowed us to take a different approach to these blinds. They are completely rain and wind resistant.

But wait, there's more... In 1998, while camping with the caravan club that we were members of, I noticed a very unique washing line on the back wall of a caravan. It fitted neatly in the tent and trim extrusion and extended the whole length of the caravan. It was also fully adjustable to fit any size caravan. I then discovered that one of the club's retired members, Charlie Cross, designed and made this washingline for his own caravan. Soon everybody in the club wanted one and it became a very sought-after item in our caravan club. Anyway, I started ordering many of these from Oom Charlie and distributed it to all the caravan dealers in South Africa. Since then Oom Charlie's age and health did not allow him to continue making them and I, with his permission, approached a friend of mine to continue the manufacturing of these brilliant caravan washinglines. The wife now handles this side of the business as Cara-Lines Cape and have also added quite a few innovative products of her own...

Full Modular Tents Modular means that the tent can be erected in standard form like on the picture above, or you can move your front wall to the end of the patio and have a double size tent for those long holidays. All the side walls are also interchangeable. This means that you don't have to worry about which side goes where. They can all fit anywhere.	Roofvent Surround (1998 Gypsey Rapier) Boat Covers We custom make all our boat covers to get a perfect fit. Unfortunately this means that you will have to bring your boat to us... but the result is a cover that fits properly. We also prefer to make a boat cover from Ripstop Canvas as opposed to PVC, but you can choose..	Full Frame LAPA's We also manufacture custom made full frame Lapa's to your specification. Standard frame size is 1.8m high x 1.5m wide, but we can make them any size you want and we can add as many frames as you need. It cost quite a bit more than the normal lapa at R437 per frame, but it works!
Rally Room for 1990 Jurgens Fleetline L This is basically a rally tent with sides, front walls, draft skirt and magazine pocket.	New Bakkie Cover for your Landcruiser	Bakkie Tents and awnings. Our client needed an awning with sidewalls for his off road bakkie. This is what we came up with.
Outdoor Blinds rolled up. The picture above shows our outdoor blinds fully installed and rolled up when you do not need them.	Outdoor Blinds rolled down. The picture above shows our outdoor blinds rolled down, protecting you from rain and wind. Attached to both sides with aluminium extrusion. The blind on the left even have a zip-open door so that you do not have to roll up the blind when you need to go outside.	Chair Covers Cover your chairs to protect it from the elements.

This holiday home in Franskraal is beautiful in every sense of the word. The only problem was that the stoep was very unpleasant when the wind blows. Even the inside of the house was a problem when the front sliding door was open.	Problem solved! We manufactured our unique roll-up blinds and now her stoep is protected from wind and rain, the owner have an extra room that can be used no matter what the weather is like and the house looks stunning. The best of all is that it did not cost her an arm and a leg... and she did not need any building plans!	Yet another bakkie cover.
Vloedbos Caravan Park recently added a new LAPA to their campsite and they wanted to close all the window openings with outdoor blinds that kept the wind and rain out for the winter months. Wessel and Lani were also looking for a solution to keep sunlight out in the recreation hall..... for the big screen TV and the rugby games! We offered a solution with our unique outdoor blinds and this is what they now have.
